Dear Ones,
There is a spirit and a heart behind all we do. With so much going on at this time, it could easily appear as just a lot of activity… going from event to event continuously. However, there is a hidden force behind all of the action, and that is the selfless giving within it all. This flow of love for others is coming from the Son within us, and His Presence and heart are what people are being touched by. Although the name “Jesus” is rarely mentioned at Gravity, the scriptures tell us in the Song of Songs that His name is as ointment poured forth (1:3). In that case, the name of God’s Son is being heard in all we do as we pour Him out for others in His spirit and nature.
Amid the outreach through Gravity, there is also a constant filling on the Word of God through the classes at the Bible school, preaching on Sundays, prayer meetings, and Bible studies that are happening daily. Our purpose and deepest desire is that in all things it would be the Son through us doing His Father’s business. I recently preached a sermon from Luke 2:39-52. We found in these verses that the Son MUST be about His Father’s business. While everyone else was caught up in a feast… Jesus, even as a twelve-year-old boy, was caught up in His Father. And so it is today. The Feasts and Events are not what is truly going on, but it is the Son in us that brings purpose and pleasure to God. Dear ones, may we continue to live together daily as a drink offering, pouring out the Son that God is pouring in. May the nations rejoice. May the people be glad! May the living and true Jesus be seen and glorified.
