Purpose
A.C.T.S. is designed for spiritual growth and not just “head knowledge”. Christ is our center. We are totally committed to Him and His purposes in the earth. We are a place of purpose. This school has been established with the purpose of training full time disciples for the kingdom of God. Training must lead to fruit-bearing, and to practical, Spirit-led ministry.
We believe that God has a unique purpose for the generation in which we live. “For David, after had had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fellow asleep…” (Acts. 13;36). While we know that God has been working out His plan through all generations and ages, it is our desire and purpose to fulfill that unique destiny which God has outlined for the generation in which we now live.

Staff/Faculty
The staff and faculty at A.C.T.S. include those who function in spiritual oversight as well as others who function in hands-on, practical leadership. We believe in delegated authority, and many people serve in leadership as unto the Lord, instead of the school revolving around one man’s personality or ministry.
The leader over all ministries is the founder of the work, Randy Nusbaum. Under him are the Director and Assistant Director. There is a property supervisor team, Deans of students, and house supervisors. Each of these leaders have areas of authority to which the student must answer.
We at A.C.T.S. believe that a constant, fresh flow of the Word is necessary for the growth of the students. That is why each term includes a schedule of teachers who are called to teach at A.C.T.S. as well as other pastors and teachers from other ministries and churches. In this way, the students receive a broad spectrum of teaching and different viewpoints of Christ.

Our Mission
a. Our goal is twofold: to know Him and to show Him.
b. While doctrine is important, it is secondary to personal growth and relationship to God.
c. Ministry must flow out from relationship to God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
d. The Cross of Christ, and His life, are our motivation.
e. We do not desire to train the souls of Christians through Christian education. Rather, we desire to train by the Holy Spirit inspired teaching which reaches the spirits of men, and produces conformity to the Word of God and to the image of Christ.
f. We believe in a worldwide harvest yet to come and desire to train reapers for this harvest.
g. We believe we are in — or nearing — the final hours of this age and feel an urgency to prepare individual who are equipped to meet the challenge of this hour.
h. We desire to “equip the saints” with the Word of God though not with men’s ideas or methods.

Our Vision
When a person comes to God, in many cases he has come from a position of being totally saturated in the world and its way of thinking. Though he is saved, yet his surroundings are still contrary to growth in Christ. It is here that many go back to the world. They have had an actual experience with God, but the things and pressures of this world has pulled them back. The balances or scales of their environment have been tipped in favor of the world. This environment of the world produces a self-centered lifestyle. The most effective way to discard this type of lifestyle is by a Total Environment.
When a believer can be brought into an environment of the Word of God for a period of time, he can become strong in the Lord and then be sent back out into the world. To have such an environment requires a body of believers, all equally dedicated to the Truth.
A.C.T.S. is a training school of the Bible and practical Christian service. Its curriculum is Word-centered and emphasizes our identification with Jesus Christ in His death on the Cross, as well as participation in His resurrection life. We desire to train soldiers of the Cross who will go forth with the gospel of Jesus Christ and who will work toward the establishment of His kingdom. Training must lead to fruit bearing, and to practical, Spirit-led ministry.
History
While the vision for A.C.T.S. began in the early 70's, the curriculum and classroom teaching did not begin until the mid 80's. The classes began under the covering of New Creation Fellowship at that time, and NCF’s facilities were used as long as A.C.T.S. had no property of buildings of its own.
In 1990, A.C.T.S. was launched as a full-time Bible school, complete with living quarters and a work program, again furnished by New Creation Fellowship, and accepted students moved onto the property for the first time to establish an environment of the Word that would influence students for years to come.
In 1992, A.C.T.S. was able to purchase a building of its own, which served the needs of a full-time school.
That one building housed classrooms, an office, and dorm rooms.
1993 saw the first full-time class graduate from A.C.T.S.
Since that time, A.C.T.S has continued to graduate students from its program almost every year. The A.C.T.S. property expanded when a small apartment building was purchased to house married couples who wish to attend A.C.T.S. The curriculum, required outreaches, and work program have been developed into a well-rounded training program for the students. The school has become a fully operating, financially independent ministry that is run by believers who have given their lives to offer a place for others to come and know the Lord.

Beliefs
Accelerated Christian Training School considers certain truths to be foundational and essential to knowing and understanding God, His plan, and His will.
a. The One True God.
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent I Am, the Creator of the universe and the Redeemer of mankind (Deut. 6:4; Ex. 3:14; Isa. 43:10, 11). God has further revealed Himself as a triune Being, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Isa. 48:16; Matt. 28:19; Lk. 3:22).
b. The Scriptures Are Inspired.
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man; they are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (II Tim. 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; II Pet. 1:21).
c. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, and as such shares in the divinity and deity of God. (Matt. 1:23; Jn. 1:14; 5:22, 23; II Jn. 3; Heb. 1:1-13).
d. Original Sin and the Fall of Man.
Man was created by God as good and upright (Gen. 1:26). The first man, Adam, through disobedience fell from the grace of God, and thus sin and death entered into the world, both physical and spiritual (Gen. 2:17; 3:6-24). Through Adam’s lineage all are born separated from God and with a sinful nature. This condition necessitates the intervention of a savior who has paid the penalty for sin and provided a means of deliverance from the power of sin (Rom. 5:12-21; 6:1-16).
e. The Salvation of Man.
Man’s only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He enters into this salvation through faith in the finished work of Christ (Acts 4:12; Rom. 10:9; Ja. 1:21; Eph. 2:8,9).
f. The Last Adam and the New Creation.
Jesus Christ is the Last Adam and the head of a new humanity that is born again of the Spirit. Believers were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world. They died and were resurrected with Him, and now have victory over the world, the flesh and the devil by virtue of this fact, as well as through their life in Him and His life in them (I Cor. 15:45-50; II Cor. 5:13-17; Eph. 1:4).
g. The Church and Its Mission.
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and the Church of the firstborn, which was written in heaven. The Church is also the Bride of Christ and will rule and reign with Him throughout eternity (Eph. 1:22-23; 2:22; 5:22-33; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 21:9-11). God endeavors to seek and save those who are lost to Him. He desires to be in relationship with Man, and to be loved and worshipped by him. He is building a body of believers in the image of His Son. The task of the Church is therefore:
1. To love, honor, obey, and worship God through His Son Jesus
Christ (Matt. 22:37, 38); Jn. 17:3).
2. To be a corporate body for habitation by God (Eph. 2:19-22).
3. To be an agency of God for evangelizing the World (Act. 1:8; Matt.
28:19, 20; Mk. 16:15, 16).
4. To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints who are
being perfect in the image of His Son. The Church is the agency of God'’ administration of His Kingdom on earth (Eph. 4:11-16; I Cor. 12:28; 14:12; Matt. 6:9, 10).
h. The Ordinances of the Church.
1. Baptism in Water.
The ordinance of baptism in water is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. This is a declaration to the world that they identify with Christ in His death and have been raised with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19; Mk. 16:16; Acts 10:47, 48; Rom. 6:4).
2. The Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion.
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements — the bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine — is the symbol expressing our sharing of the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Pet. 1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming (I Cor. 11:26), and is enjoined on all believers until He comes again.
i. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidence by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts. 2:4). With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts or enablements of the Holy Spirit and their uses in the ministry of the Body of Christ (Lk. 24:49; Acts. 1:4, 8; I Cor. 12:1-31). This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts. 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14, 15; 15:7-9).
j. The Second Advent of Christ.
k. The Final Judgment.
l. The New Heavens and the New Earth.
“…We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (II Pet. 3:13, Rev. 21:1).
