Dear Friends,
These past months have been a season for our fellowship in Denton, Texas, to be refocusing on the vision and calling of our church. The Lord is bringing His purpose for raising up this fellowship back to the forefront of our hearts. He is preparing us to be with Him and full of Him in the things that are to come. This month’s newsletter sharing is a part of that heart. Someone came to me three days ago with an audio recording of a time when I shared two dreams that I had in June of 2019. The audio was recorded just weeks after I had the dreams and retains much of the feel and details within those dreams.
Acts 2:17 says this: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams...” Now, anyone who knows me at all knows I never have prophetic dreams or things like that, so this was a very unusual event to happen to me. However, if nothing else at least it proves that I am now finally an “old man”. But seriously, as the Holy Spirit explained to me later, these dreams were from Him and were prophetic concerning things to come. Once again, this is not my usual style but who am I to deny that the Lord is speaking to us?
The person who recently found the audio involving the dreams was so impacted by hearing them that she transcribed the audio and then made an audio recording of her voice reading my words. I felt that God’s movement on her concerning this, along with the Spirit in which it was recorded, was worth presenting to you all. So I requested that we use her audio for this newsletter. Though she is reading the transcript of the dreams, yet remember that she is only reading to you the things I originally said. She makes no comment on the recording of her own. Again, the words were from when I shared my dreams with a small group on June 18th, 2019.
At the time I shared these things, we all were living in a very different world. The atmosphere was a lot more peaceful. The pandemic had not happened yet. There was no war with Russia. Climate change had not gone to incredible extremes, nor was the political climate so volatile. But now things have drastically changed on the world scene since that time. The theme of the dreams is “Death is The Answer”, which a few of you will instantly recognize because you were there when I shared it with you a short time after the dreams. May the Lord Jesus unite us more in His purpose for the cross then, and in our lives now.
